Safe & Effective Sun Protection

May 27, 2009

Filed under: General — admin @ 11:08 am

It’s almost June, and soon the sun will be shining hot and strong and the cold will be just a memory! Be prepared with good, quality sunscreen.

Dr T’s Supergoop is the “hotest” sunscreen product these days. It has been selected as Editor’s Pick by Better Homes & Garden Magazine. And here is why: completely green and organic, with no artificial colors or preservatives, PABA or alcohol. It goes on light and easy, and is not greasy. And is water-resistant, meaning you don’t have to keep reapplying after each splash!

Available as lotion and as a handy stick for faces and small kids nooks and crannies. Also great is the spray, combining sunscreen and a toxic free bug repellent: perfect for the backyard, walks in the woods, and summer picnics!

Mamacitas & Big Mamas

March 27, 2009

Filed under: Events, Fun, General — admin @ 1:59 pm

We had a great time last night with Patti Vasquez Mamacita’s at the Wilmette Theatre. She is too funny, and human too! A real mom, with real problems and real blessings and a great sense of humor to tackle it all.

Lots of moms and grandmas at the audience, but I was happy to see several guys too! And everybody took home a little gift from Maya Papaya & Tony Macarony, proud sponsors of the show!

I highly recommend seeing her show if you have the opportunity!

Probably not!

But this one came in free with my website, so I might as well make the most of it!

I’ll be posting articles of interest to modern parents and kids. New fashion trends, cool toys, and out of the ordinary news. Short and sweet!
